Robert Bach

Robert Otto Bach (1917 - 2010) was active/lived in Pennsylvania, California.  Robert Bach is known for Design, landscape painting, decorator, art education.

Robert Otto Bach was born in San Francisco, California on February 6, 1917. Bach studied at the CSFA and with Joseph Sinel. He was active in his native city as a commercial artist, and member of The Thirteen Watercolorists until joining the Army in 1941.

While stationed in Hawaii, he taught landscape painting at the Honolulu Academy of Art. Following the war, he became art director of N. W. Ayer's Honolulu office. Ayer transferred him to the San Francisco office in 1948, and he worked there until 1957 when he moved to Philadelphia. He died in Haverford, Pennsylvania on February 6, 2010.
